I hope to take the time someday to actually add sources. Most of what I have here has been collected from hundreds of papers and books I've had to sift through. I am also not relatively certain about some things here. A temporal chart like the ones by Luke Ranieri might be an awesome project. Until then, enjoy!
и /i/ | ꙕ /y/ | ꙑ /ɨ/ | ѹ /u/ |
ь /ɪ/ | ъ /ʊ/ | |
е /ɛ/, ѧ /ẽ/ | ѭ /œ̃/ | о /ʌ/, ѫ /ɔ̃/ | |
ѣ /æ/ | а /ɑ/ |
- Depending on the exact period, palatalised consonants fronted vowels
- Depending on the exact period, there were two *ę vowels: one higher, one lower
- Depending on the exact period, roundedness might not have been phonemic. That might clash with 1. given how ѭ and ѧ might become too alike
- Depending on the exact period, the realisation of weak yers might both have been something akin to a schwa /ə/
- ꙑ was never a diphthong (cf. Vermeer 2016)
- Given that either a *j or a *w were often epenthentised in between vowels, differentiating between ѣ and ꙗ seems redundant, which is why Glagolitic doesn't
- Don't forget to use proper pitch accent and length :)
